The Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ)

The Congregation was founded in 1878 in St. Quentin in France, by Fr. Leo Dehon, who received the grace and the mission to enrich the Church with a new apostolic religious institute called to live by an evangelical inspiration. At the moment we are 2230 religious present in 37 countries.

Our pastoral priorities are centred on the formation of future religious and priests, pre-university and university education, evangelization, missions, parish apostolate and various social works.
